A square neck sits flat, shows a little collarbone and draws the eye up, which is why it flatters almost everyone. We cut ours wide enough to frame the shoulders without sliding, in a stable fabric that keeps the line clean all day.
Why a square neck works
An open neckline makes the torso read longer, and a straight edge gives the shoulders a frame. It is the easiest neckline to wear under a blazer, because the lapel and the neckline run in the same direction instead of fighting each other.
Jewellery that suits it
A short pendant that sits above the neckline, or nothing at all. Skip anything that lands on the edge of the fabric, it competes with the line.
