1. Introduction
At Petite Wears we respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have. It applies to petitewears.com and to any order you place with us. The data controller is Petite Wears LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, contactable at hello@petitewears.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you add one, and the contents of any message you send us. Payment details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our servers, though we do receive the last four digits of your card and whether the payment succeeded. Information we collect automatically: the pages you view, your approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser, and how you found us.
3. How We Use Your Information and Why We Are Allowed To
To process and deliver your order, answer your questions and handle returns, which we do to perform our contract with you. To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, understand how the site is used and improve it, which we do on the basis of our legitimate interests. To send marketing emails, which we do only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising. We do share it with service providers who work on our behalf under contract: our payment provider, shipping carriers, our email platform, and our website host. We may also share information where the law requires it, to protect our rights, or if the business is sold or transferred.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only essential storage at the moment, which keeps your bag and your preferences on your own device. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first. Full detail is in our Cookies Policy.
6. How Long We Keep It
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, normally seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages to customer care are kept for up to two years. After that we delete the data or anonymise it.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, transfer it to another provider, or limit how we use it. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@petitewears.com. We will reply within 30 days and we will never treat you differently for asking.
8. If You Are in the EEA or the UK
Your rights above come from the GDPR and the UK GDPR. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, or to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, if you think we have handled your data badly.
9. If You Are in California or Another US State
Depending on your state you may have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and exercising any right will never affect the price or service you get.
10. Data Security
We use industry standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your data, and we limit who can access it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Our service providers may process your data outside your own country, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on approved safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses.
12. Children's Privacy
The site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be flagged on the site.
